Expense Culpium to Your Company
Dozens of Culpium readers have expensed their subscription pledge to their employer. The value add and low-cost makes this a good idea.
Here’s a template you can use to ask your manager for approval
Subject:
Approval Request: Individual Culpium subscription before the price jumps 40%
Body:
Hi {boss},
I’ve been reading Culpium for a while and it’s proven to be a wealth of news and ideas, and is very useful to our work. Here’s a link to the website.
It is about to become a paid newsletter, but Tim Culpan is offering a special deal to all subscribers before the paywall goes up. If we pledge a subscription now, we pay only $100 per year. It will rise 40% to $140 per year after that. We don’t get billed until the paywall is turned on, which I expect will be in the next month or two.
I researched comparable writers in this realm and found that they range from $480 to $2,000 per year. Tim Culpan at Culpium has better insights and much more experience, and is one of the few truly independent business, tech and supply chain writers out there.
Culpium does not allow us to share subscriptions across readers, but at this price I think we can still justify individual subscriptions. Tim said he’s open to doing group & team deals for five or more readers if we ask.
Shall I go ahead and sign up for an individual paid sub before the price rises?
Thanks
