More to the point, once memory/component/equipment cost increase hit TSMCs own operations (as I presume they will now prices are set to increase) to what extent might it find it needs to raise prices again?

That is especially interesting, as (AFAIK) TSMC has -so far- forgone the larger-scale purchase of ASML's very expensive highNA EUV scanners, and decided to rely on its know-how and experience with multiple patterning instead to achieve <2 nm structures.

TSMC’s chief cost is equipment depreciation. Rising power prices are a handy excuse, and can impact gross profit at the margins.
Beyond that, everything else is absorbable with little impact.

Yes. TSMC has been open about its position on High-NA. They don’t oppose it. They don’t hate it. They simply don’t require it at this stage.
